CAT & Genny, (Radio detection C.A.T4®, eC.A.T4®, gC.A.T4+ & Genny4®)
This CAT & Genny Course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely locate, trace and identify underground utilities before excavation work begins.
Using industry-standard equipment, including the C.A.T4®, eC.A.T4®, gC.A.T4+® and Genny4®, learners will gain hands-on experience in detecting buried services and reducing the risk of accidental utility strikes.
Delivered in line with the Health and Safety Executive's HSG47: Avoiding Danger from Underground Services guidance, the course covers safe excavation practices, equipment operation, utility detection techniques and hazard awareness.
Delegates will learn how to identify the presence of underground cables, pipes and other services, helping to prevent injuries, service interruptions, costly repairs and project delays.
Suitable for construction workers, groundworkers, utilities operatives, supervisors and site managers, this course promotes safe working practices and helps organisations meet their legal duties when carrying out excavation and groundwork activities.
